Recently re-certified in one of my favorite Adobe product, Illustrator. Certificates delivered very fast, as usual with Adobe.
Another round of re-certification has started. Waiting for the rest of my certifs.
I was always wondering, why NLEs don’t support a simple script language? Ведь it would be nice to write something like this:
and have name of the clip #3 from track v1 appear as burn-in on screen. Yeah, I know that in PPro we now have an effect for that, but what if a need to do something more complex:
with track(v1).clips do if (clip(name)=='test.mov') then print(clip(name)) end end
Or, another idea: why don’t we have a Link Effect? Like in Apple Motion, when you can link one element (clip, filter, behaviour, etc) to another. For example, changing blur amount on a “master” clip would change blur on all “linked” clips. We could call it “attached clips”, to avoid confusion with existing Link functionality.
Today was the last day of Grass Valley EDIUS 7 Train-the-Trainer event. Now I’m certified “Grass Cutter”, how they call it, both Green and Silver levels. In other words, I’m now End User and Trainer.
Big thanks to my master trainer, Ulli, since I’m not the easiest person to deal with during T3s (because of my annoyingly picky questions).
And these are my green and silver level pins!
Recently received the last (but not the least) certificate I was aiming for.
Just returned from Munich, Germany. I was attending Avid Train-the-Trainer course. I’m very excited and loaded with knowledge on ways of teaching this awesome software.
Looking forward to ‘upgrading’ myself to Level 2.
Yes! Another level is passed. I’m an Adobe Certified Instructor now. It’s a great pleasure to work with Adobe and a great honor to be an Adobe Trainer.
